Miley Ray Cyrus daughters of Tish Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus. She was born on November 23, 1993. She was born in Franklin, Tennessee. Miley has five brothers as well as sisters, two of whom are older and a younger sister. The Miley's parents chose her in hopes they would have her succeed. The nickname she was given in her childhood, Smiley, due to her cheerful personality, was eventually shortened to Miley. Ron Cyrus was her grandfather. Cyrus began her education in Heritage Elementary School located in Tennessee. At the age of eight the family relocated from Tennessee to Toronto, Canada, where Cyrus's father Billy Ray took a role in the TV drama Doc (2001). Around this time that Cyrus determined that she wanted to act too. Her first performance was alongside her dad in Doc (2001). Tim Burton's Big Fish (2003), in which she played the role of a lesser-known character as a child, also had a great success. Cyrus was cast in 2005 as the main character of the Disney television series Hannah Montana, which is the story of a teenage girl who has in a double life. In this instance, Cyrus' father also acted with her. Following the success of the show, there were hit records with sold-out shows and sales for merchandise. Cyrus turned into a teenager-friendly star. Cyrus started to play other roles following her success in the film Hannah Montana (2006). These included playing Ronnie Miller (in The Last Song 2010, 2010) and Lola (in LOL (2012)), alongside Demi Moor.
